SnowRoute: snow analysis for your hiking route

SnowRoute analyses a GPX route against Copernicus snow cover data and highlights route sections that are clear, lower-risk snowy, higher-risk snowy, cloud-obscured, or water.

How to get it

Visit szilAIrd/snow-cov-test, download or clone the repository, and run npm start from the project root for the simplest local start.

How to use it

1. Open the app in your browser after starting it locally.
2. Upload a GPX file.
3. Click Analyse Snow Conditions.
4. Review the map colours and route summary to understand likely snow impact on the trip.
